Between invitations, directions, pre and post wedding activities and agendas….there can be a lot of paper!  Please recycle, but even better avoid printing pages and pages of information for your
guests. If they are anything like me and my family, it will be lost in the car or left at home at least a few times. Consider setting up a wedding website with details about your wedding.  You can include directions, hotels,
schedules, etc. Wedquarters  (aff.) makes it simple!  Or enlist the help of that techie cousin and they’ll get you up and running.

There are so many online shopping options…..! If buying locally is not an option, check out our Gift Guide for online companies that value our Earth’s resources and model environmentally friendly practices.  If you know of a company that should make our list….please let us know.

My favorite on the web so far is Conscious Clothing, they carry wedding gowns and bridesmaids’ dresses. They have have hemp wedding dresses and even choices for pure Vegan brides! From their site “By choosing to wear their natural fiber on his special day, you are honoring not only your commitment, but also a sacred connection that we share with our planet.”  I was amazed how beautiful, earth friendly and semi-affordable these dresses were.  (Seemed expensive to me…….but compared to the range of prices you will find in a bridal shop…I thought semi- seemed to sum it up.) 

For bridesmaid, mother of the bride & other wedding attire, check out Greenloop. Among other things, they support organic farming, sweatshop free production, sustainable textiles, recyling & renewable energy.
